cheongdam bridge, seoul / 2014
bridge yards imagines a time when the seoul’s population has reached equilibrium and heavy car-dependency gives way to other modes of transport. as some bridges are no longer needed for transit, they will need to be reprogrammed. a series of linear housing blocks organized around communal courtyards seek to bring a sense of domesticity and locality to the waterfront.
